LMS (Canvas)

Canvas is Frankfurt School’s learning management system (LMS) for course organization, materials, assignments, communication, and student interaction. The operational Canvas setup checklist is integrated into each course’s process so that the course record is the source of truth; see the course overview for the current and upcoming records.

Durable principles

• Course content can be published incrementally; not every item has to be available before the first session.
• Link or publish sample solutions only after the corresponding session.
• Lecturers remain responsible for academic content, assessment design, and publication decisions.
• Review material in Student View before making it available to students.

Implementation notes

• API access is enabled in Canvas under Settings → Access token.
• Create a video for Kanwass (JP).
