Publication fees

Open access publishing fees may be covered by the library if a transformative agreement exists with the publisher.

Authors with first-time publication

Create accounts:

Enter publication details and store full-text document

Enter publication details in:

references.bib (the publications page will be updated automatically).
ORCID (if the publisher has not added the publication)
GoogleScholar / My profile / Add article manually
ResearchGate
CV

Add PDF to

Nextcloud publications

Improvement, reflection and follow-up

Reflect on potential improvements in the research process and document here
Discuss potential follow-up projects and document here

Add to `research-hub` / `teaching-hub`

Add Markdown file to research-hub or teaching-hub
Import summary notes for key references (replace @Author citation syntax with [[Author]] obsidian links)

Archive and publish PDF and/or data

Reuse of literature (PDFs should be in nextcloud; PDF names should be IDs; BibTeX file and final paper should be added)
Reuse of data, and scripts (archive of git repository)
Check whether research data can be made available, if so:
- Use Zenodo to assign a DOI to the repo and make it citable: link (instructions)
- Add dataset tag to GitHub repository (see overview)
